Which cleanse is for you?

After Glow Cleanse:

If you are new to juicing or cleansing our beginner’s cleanse will ease you in with tonics, nut mylks and juices that are very pleasing to your palate while giving your digestive system a rest, nourishing and detoxing your organs and tissues.

Phosphorescent Cleanse:

This cleanse supports those who enjoy juice regularly and are accustomed to green juices.

WHAT ARE THE Benefits OF Cleansing?

16 ounces of juice contains 2 pounds of produce.  When we drink pressed juice all of the nutrients from all of that produce is directly absorbed into our system.   Chewing food doesn’t give your body access to all the nearly the amount of nutrients that juice does so juicing is the ultimate way to nourish our bodies.

HOW SHOULD YOU PREP FOR YOUR CLEANSE?

To have a pleasant cleanse we suggest weaning yourself from caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, sugar, grains and of course processed foods a week prior to your cleanse.  You will feel much better if you start this before so your body can ease into the process.  To support you, we also suggest doing our 3 Day Raw Food Plan the days prior to your cleanse and 3 days after your cleanse.  This will give your body the best reboot and you will get the most out of cleansing if done with the support of eating raw foods before and after.  We suggest scheduling a colonic series to support the cleansing process.  Having a colonic during your cleanse will assist in flushing the toxins your body is releasing more rapidly, creating a foundation for a successful cleanse.

During your Cleanse

You can also enjoy organic herbal tea or warm water with lemon.

Drink your juices every 2-3 hours.

Choose a time to cleanse when you will be able to rest and have time to yourself

Compliment your cleanse with yoga,  chi –gong , dry brushing, saunas and hot Epson salt baths.

After your Cleanse

Use your cleanse to help you reset your digestive system and support maintaining a clean diet with as much raw food as possible.

Can I drink anything else during my cleanse?

You want to support the detoxing of your body by drinking plenty of high quality water to assist the flushing of toxins. We suggest adding electrolyte powder to your water, like Ultima Replenisher, sold both at PLANTBAR and Zia’s Cafe. You can also enjoy organic herbal tea or warm water with lemon.

What if I get hungry?

If you find that you absolutely need to eat something during your cleanse, we recommend sticking to apples, cucumbers, grapes, half of an avocado, raw nuts, or warm broth.

Can I still have coffee?

Try to abstain from both coffee and caffeinated teas, but if you are having withdrawal symptoms, it’s fine to indulge in ½ a cup of coffee or tea, without any cream or sugar.

How often should I drink a juice?

You receive 6 juices per cleansing day, and even though we recommend drinking a juice every 2-3 hours, it really depends on when you get hungry.

What order do I drink the juices?

You can enjoy the juices in any order you like. Remember, this is your cleanse! Listen to your body and drink a juice when you feel hungry.

Can I work out during my cleanse?

Compliment your cleanse with yoga, chi –gong, dry brushing, saunas and hot Epsom salt baths. You should avoid strenuous activity and exercise during your cleanse. But to each their own - do whatever feels right.

HOW MANY CALORIES ARE IN EACH JUICE?

We focus on the nutritional integrity of our products rather than the caloric quantity. With each of our cold-pressed juices containing 2lbs of produce, by removing the indigestible fiber, much more of the nutrients are available for absorption.

We encourage our clients to use our cleanses as a way to redefine what hunger means to them - if that means you feel that you will need to further supplement your cleanse, we support you. Since partaking in a liquid diet is designed to give your digestive system a break, we do recommend that if you do continue to feel hunger, to stick to water-dense produce such as apples, celery, cucumbers and avocados.

Everyone's goals are different when it comes to cleansing, and we recommend making this experience your own. We also have recommended health coaches on our wellness mentor page to assist you with your journey.
